She’s a fulltime shopaholic and keeps herself further occupied with a motley parade of questionable boyfriends.   Youngest son Michael (Gabriel Thomson) is the brains of the operation – but try as he may, can never seem to keep from getting tangled up in the latest disaster-du-jour.  Despite Ben and Susan’s mighty efforts, every week brings on new awkward and hilarious complications.
