McMillan & Wife: Season 3

TV`s favourite domestic detective team is back for another thrilling season of small screen sleuthing.

San Francisco Police Commissioner Stewart “Mac” McMillan (Rock Hudson) and his whip-smart wife Sally (Susan Saint James) journey to Scotland for a family reunion that soon turns into a whodunit when the murdered
body of Mac’s uncle is discovered. Once back in San Francisco, the McMillans come to the rescue of their housekeeper, Mildred (Nancy Walker), who has become the target of a satanic cult. Just when things seem to have settled down, murder strikes Mac’s past as old friends from his CIA days and his college football team are eliminated. Topping it off, Rock Hudson plays a dual role of Mac and a look-alike mobster in order to intercept the arrival of a stolen transcontinental gold shipment.

An original part of the long-running NBC Mystery Movie line-up, this shows’ mixture of suspenseful drama and romantic comedy became an instant hit. Season 3 features four 90-minute episodes and is rounded out by a pair of
two-hour episodes.
