Hosted by impressionist John Byner, BIZARRE was produced by Allan Blye and Bob Einstein, the comedic geniuses behind The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour, The Redd Foxx Comedy Hour, The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour and other TV classics.
“The show was a dream for me,” John Byner says about BIZARRE. “It gave me a chance to do what I had no idea I was able to. Things came at me so fast, I didn’t have time to think of not being able to pull it off. It was the most fun job of my career to date.”
Always stretching the boundaries of good taste, Byner and company spoof the Muppets, Sylvester Stallone, Eighties’ fashions, gangster movies, TV preachers, hate groups, talk shows, weddings, health care and everything else under the sun – including their riotously tasteless sitcom parody, The Bigot Family.
Also seen in this exclusive collection are a young Mike Myers (Saturday Night Live), Howie Mandel (Deal or No Deal), Billy Barty (Sigmund and the Sea Monsters), Pat Morita (Happy Days), Billy Van (The Hilarious House of Frightenstein), The Unknown Comic (The Gong Show) and Super Dave Osborne.
If politically incorrect humor, stupendous stunts and bodacious babes are what you’re looking for, it’s all here in ‘The Best of BIZARRE Volume 4’!
